# Sage Green Boho Tiered Lace Dress Free Crochet Pattern

Tiered skirts are having a moment, and honestly? I get it. There is something so joyful about all that swishy, flowy fabric. This boho dress takes the tiered trend and gives it the crochet treatment — three lacy tiers in soft sage green that flutter when you walk. I feel like I should be at a music festival every time I put it on!

Each tier is worked separately and joined as you go, which means no marathon rounds and a perfect chance to try it on between tiers. The bodice is simple and fitted so all the drama happens in the skirt, right where it should be.

Rnds 2–10: Work the same lace mesh as Tier 1.

Rnd 11: Work the same 3-dc fan round as Tier 1.

Tier 3

Rnd 1 (increase): Ch 3, work 2 dc in each st/space around, join. (approx. 288 dc)

Rnds 2–10: Work the same lace mesh.

Final edging: \*5 dc in next ch-1 space, sl st in next ch-1 space; repeat from \* around, join. Fasten off.

Finishing

Work 2 rounds of sc around the neckline. Make two straps: chain 70, sc back, and sew to the front and back neckline. Weave in all ends. A light steam blocking makes the tiers fall beautifully.

Sophie’s Tips

  • Each tier doubles the stitch count, so place a marker every 20 stitches on increase rounds to keep track.
  • If a tier feels too full, skip the increase round and work the mesh directly — the dress still looks amazing.
  • Wear a simple slip underneath; the mesh tiers are sheer and the effect with a nude slip is gorgeous.

Twirl, swish, repeat — this dress was made for joyful days!
