# Cozy Tan Kitty Face Tote Bag Free Crochet Pattern

The cutest tote in the history of totes. Cozy tan with an adorable crocheted kitty face on the front — ears, eyes, whiskers, the whole charming package. I made it for my cat-obsessed niece and she carries it everywhere, including to places that definitely don’t require a tote bag. The kitty face is all appliqué, so the bag itself is a simple sturdy tote.

If you love cats (and who doesn’t?), this is your bag. Meow!

Nose: With pink, embroider a small triangle on the muzzle.

Eyes: With dark brown, embroider two large oval eyes (satin stitch), with a tiny white highlight dot each.

Whiskers: With dark brown, embroider 3 whiskers on each side.

Sew the face base to the front of the tote, then the ears at the top, the muzzle in the lower center, and embroider the features. Weave in all ends.

Sophie’s Tips

  • Embroider the face BEFORE sewing it to the tote — much easier to handle.
  • The white highlight dots in the eyes are what make it cute instead of creepy. Don’t skip them!
  • Ears slightly tilted outward look playful; straight up looks alert. Choose your kitty’s mood.

Meow and carry on — the cutest tote ever!
