# Chic Green Crocheted Outfit Free Crochet Pattern

Every closet needs that one dress that just works, all year long — and this is mine. I designed this chic green number to be the ultimate shapeshifter: make it sleeveless for a summer wedding, add the optional sleeves for fall, and come Christmas, throw a cream turtleneck underneath and you are the merry chicest person in the room.
The shaping is simple — a fitted waist, a gentle A-line skirt, and a scalloped shell hem that does all the decorating for you. And yes, it shows off your curves instead of hiding them. That is the whole point.
What You’ll Need
- Worsted-weight yarn in a rich green (about 750 yards for size S/M; choose cotton for summer, wool blend for winter)
- Size H (5.00 mm) crochet hook
- Tapestry needle
- Stitch markers
Finished size: Bust 34″, waist 30″, length 36″ (size S/M), sleeveless. Optional sleeve instructions included below.

Sophie’s Tips
- For the Christmas look in the photo, I wore mine over a cream turtleneck — the green against the cream is pure holiday magic.
- Want it longer? Add rounds to Rounds 24–40 before the shell hem; every 5 rounds adds about an inch and a quarter.
- A wool-blend green holds the shell hem’s scallops crisply, while cotton gives a softer drape — pick your mood.
