# Sunshine Yellow Daisy Crochet Coords Free Pattern

What You’ll Need
- DK-weight cotton yarn in sunshine yellow (approx. 500 yards) and white (approx. 150 yards), plus yellow (approx. 30 yards)

- 1 inch elastic for the shorts waistband (approx. 30 inches)

The Pattern
Daisy Motifs (make 20 for the top)
With white, make a magic ring.
Round 1: Ch 1, 10 SC into the ring, join.
Round 2: *Ch 4, slip stitch in the 2nd chain from the hook, SC in the next 2 chains, slip stitch in the next SC,* repeat around for 5 petals. Fasten off. With yellow, embroider a French knot center.
Crop Top
Join the daisy motifs in a grid (4 wide by 5 tall) with yellow: slip stitch through the petal tips to join. The top should measure about 34 inches around.
Top edging: Join yellow at the top edge. Work 2 rounds of SC around. Bottom edging: Work 2 rounds of SC around the bottom. Straps (make 2): Ch 40, SC back, sew to the front and back.
Shorts (yellow)
Ch 90. Join to work in the round.
Rounds 1–4: Ch 2, DC in each stitch around, join. (90 DC)
