What You’ll Need
- Size 10 crochet thread in ocean blue (small amount)
- Size 1.5 mm steel crochet hook
- Tapestry needle
- 2 earring hooks
- 4 small jump rings
- 2 short chain pieces (1 inch each)
Finished size: Each earring approximately 2 inches long (including dangle).
The Pattern
Butterfly (make 2)
With ocean blue, make a magic ring. Round 1: Ch 3 (counts as DC), 2 DC into the ring, Ch 2, 3 DC into the ring, Ch 2, 3 DC into the ring, Ch 2, 3 DC into the ring, Ch 2, join. Round 2: Slip stitch to the first Ch-2 space. Ch 3, 3 DC in the same space, Ch 3, slip stitch in the same space, slip stitch to the next Ch-2 space, repeat 4 times. Fasten off.
Body: Ch 8, SC in each chain. Sew vertically across the center.
Assembly
Attach a jump ring to the top of each butterfly. Attach the chain piece. Attach another jump ring. Attach the earring hook.
